Gordon Carter |
Clerk of the course from 1910 until his death in 1941, Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Carter’s singular contribution to the racecourse is acknowledged to this very day. The running of the Gordon Carter Handicap at Ascot’s September Festival meeting and the Gordon Carter room within the Queen Anne suite ensure that the memory of this loyal Ascot subject lives on.
Superbly designed to cater both for small meetings or intimate dinners and overlooking the beautiful Ascot plaza and imposing new Grandstand, this delightful room has been recently refurbished and has its own private balcony.
